Meet Betty the Brave Little Battery: A New Coloring & Activity Book Inspiring Young Climate Heroes
San José Clean Energy (SJCE) is excited to introduce Betty the Brave Little Battery, a brand-new children’s coloring and activity book designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and climate awareness in young readers. Betty takes children on a fun, friendly adventure to learn where renewable energy comes from and how clean power—like sunshine, wind, and water—can keep our communities running strong.
To help reach as many families as possible, the book is available in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese, making it more accessible for San José’s beautifully diverse community. Families may have already spotted Betty at Christmas in the Park, where SJCE distributed thousands of copies to delighted kids and parents alike.
This is just the beginning. SJCE will continue to share Betty the Brave Little Battery through partnerships with local libraries, schools, and community organizations, ensuring even more children can enjoy the story, learn about clean energy, and express their creativity through coloring pages, puzzles, and interactive activities.
