Celebrate Heat Pump Week: 1,400 San José Homes Are Already Electric

April 11–19 is Heat Pump Week, and San José Clean Energy (SJCE) is celebrating a major milestone. More than 1,400 homes in San José have electrified with energy-efficient heat pumps through the EcoHome Rebate and EcoHome Payment Plan program.

Families who upgraded to heat pumps now enjoy a more comfortable home, help reduce pollution, and support San José’s climate goals.

To celebrate Heat Pump Week, San José Clean Energy is offering an extra $500 bonus for customers who install a heat pump water heater this Spring—available for a limited time from April 1 through May 31, 2026.
