Powered By Community – Annual Report 2025

Annual Report text, to the right is the cover image of two men speaking in front of an SJCE community booth.

2025 was a big year for San José Clean Energy—and for our entire community.

Together, we helped make San José the No. 1 Greenest City in America, according to WalletHub. This couldn’t have been done without our community choosing to go electric with electric vehicles and energy-efficient appliances – all while being powered by at least 62% renewable energy.

We also made energy more affordable. In 2025, San José Clean Energy customers saved more than $40 million on electricity generation, plus added savings on energy-efficient appliances that help lower electricity bills.

Our work will always be rooted in the community we serve. From hosting our largest-ever Electric Vehicle Ride & Drive at PayPal Park to electrifying Santa’s house at Christmas in the Park, our mission remains the same: support our community, reduce emissions, and build a cleaner future for San José.

I invite you to explore the 2025 annual report and see how we’re powering progress together.
