EV rebate amounts change September 15, 2026

Starting Sept. 15, EV Instant Rebates will change to $3,000 for new EVs and $1,750 for used EVs, with a $50,000 vehicle price cap. Already have a rebate code? Purchase or lease your EV by Sept. 14 to receive the current rebate amount. Combine with California’s MyFirstEV program for even more savings. Learn more below.
