Conserve Energy from 4-9PM

To lessen the stress on the power grid during this heat wave, the CA Grid Operator (CAISO) has called a flex alert for Friday, September 9 to help avoid rolling power outages. It’s likely that CAISO will call flex alerts throughout the heat wave.

Everyone is asked to save energy from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Set A/C to 78 degrees, avoid using large appliances, and turn off lights. Where safe to do so, use backup generators. View more tips.
