2024 was an exciting year of progress for San José Clean Energy, and I’m thrilled to share our “Powered by Community” Annual Report with you.

We celebrated some incredible milestones in 2024, including the ribbon-cutting of two new solar power plants, investment-grade credit ratings, award-winning customer programs, and so much more.

In 2024, we delivered our cleanest electricity to date and saved customers a combined $24 million compared to investor-owned utilities. We also surpassed one gigawatt of contracted renewable energy since our formation in 2017 — that’s enough clean energy to power 600,000 San José homes.
