Have you been thinking about buying an electric car, going solar, or upgrading your home with energy-efficient appliances? Now is the time to act.

Act Now – Federal Clean Energy Tax Credits Are Ending Soon

The federal government recently made big changes to the Inflation Reduction Act, which offered tax credits to help people switch to clean energy.

This means many of the clean energy tax credits will end soon—some by the end of this year.

Here’s what’s going away and when:

Federal Incentive
Ends
Up to $7,500 for new electric vehicles (EVs) and up to $4,000 for used EVs  September 30, 2025
30% off home battery systems and solar  December 31, 2025
30% off heat pump water heaters and HVAC systems (up to $2,000)  December 31, 2025
