Thank you for your interest in San José Clean Energy’s Multifamily EV Charger Assistance Program. All program funding has been fully allocated. Applications submitted on or after March 11, 2026 have been placed on a waitlist and will be considered on a first come first served basis if additional funds become available.
The Multifamily Charger Assistance Program provides financial incentives to multifamily property owners for the installation of EV chargers. Tenants want to drive EVs, but often don’t have chargers available on site. EV chargers can help you retain your tenants and attract new tenants to fill vacancies.

Download, fill out, and sign the Multifamily Charger Assistance Program application linked below and email the completed form to askprograms@sanjoseca.gov. SJCE will respond with a Determination of Incentive Funds status within 5 business days.
